Iako u grubo mljevenoj pasti od kikirikija stanovnici Ju\u017ene Amerike u\u017eivaju preko hiljadu godina, proizvodnja finog, dora\u0111enog putera po\u010dela je u SAD-u prije otprilike stotinu godina.<\/p><p>S obzirom da se kikiriki puter ve\u017ee za ameri\u010dku <em>fast food<\/em> hranu, stekao je reputaciju nezdravog i \u0161tetnog proizvoda.\u00a0Istovremeno, na policama trgova\u010dkih centara mogu\u0107e je prona\u0107i ovaj proizvod, ali je on \u010desto sa dodacima \u0161e\u0107era, soli i palmina ulja, a kao takav \u0161tetan \u00a0je za zdravlje \u2013 i liniju.<\/p><p>Ipak, popularnost 100% kikiriki putera je u porastu zbog svojih nutricionih vrijednosti. Ni zasi\u0107ene masti ne\u0107e uticati nepovoljno na zdravlje, ve\u0107 \u0107e \u010dak pomo\u0107i kod regulacije odre\u0111enih hormona kao \u0161to je testosteron i vitamin D.<\/p><p>Uz manji broj zasi\u0107enih masti, nezasi\u0107ene masti koje se nalaze u puteru od kikirikija su mononezasi\u0107ene i polinezasi\u0107ene.
